The script written
in the heart and mind of God before time began was set in motion – underscored
by the pleading song of a world desperately needing a Savior.
This is the Christmas story.
It was painful for the angelic
realm to watch their beloved King leave the glories of heaven
and be made “a little lower
than the angels”. It was incomprehensible for them to
see their Creator become a human baby, wrapped in flesh and
blood.
But it was horrific for these angelic creatures to have witnessed
the Son breath His last for an ungrateful, sinful Man.
“When I consider Your heavens,
the work of Your fingers,
the moon and the stars which You have ordained;
what is man, that You take thought of him?
And the son of man, that You so care for him?”
These
were the kinds of questions the angels had to ask.
But, there
were other players. There was another angel. One that posed
as an ‘angel of light’ and yet only darkness
and death surrounded him. And he was after something… still after
something: the glory that belonged to the Holy One.
As
with “The Halo Project – An Angelic Christmas
Musical”, the Easter sequel continues to see the
unfolding events of God’s divine plan as they happen – through
the eyes of angels. It again, is not your typical Easter
pageant. Not only do we gain heaven’s perspective
on the most important event in heaven and earth’s
history, but we also see how the redemption story captures
the hearts of individuals, especially
that of Nathaniel’s. Nathaniel’s story started
one ordinary night when myriads of angels filled the
sky above his
field filled with sheep and declared…
“For unto you is born this day
in the city of David,
A Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”
But Nathaniel’s
world would also be shaken after this magnificent night. “Peace
and good will toward men” would not
find him… nor would angels visit him again in
his most desperate hour.
